Long Beach Gastroenterology Associates is pleased to announce the arrival of two new Providers. Dr. Sunny Lo and Dr. Farid Jalali.
Dr. Sunny Lo, D.O. spent the majority of his childhood in Los Angeles County, growing up in Rowland Heights. He received his undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Irvine and his medical degree at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona CA. He completed his Internal Medicine internship and residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center and ultimately his Gastroenterology fellowship at Parkview Medical Center in Colorado.
His interests range from General GI to hepatobiliary and pancreas to the esophagus and general hepatology. He has been trained extensively in endoscopy, colonoscopy and ERCP procedures.
Dr. Farid Jalali, M.D. grew up in Iran, completed his undergraduate and medical degrees at West Virginia University. His internship and residency were completed at the University of California Irvine. He went on to graduate from the Gastroenterology Fellowship program at the University of California Irvine. Dr. Jalali is board certified in internal medicine and will be completing his board certification in Gastroenterology in 2018.
He performs GI consultations and has extensive experience in endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures, including biliary and small bowel endoscopy.
